What we don't allow — and why
Screening is layered: category workflow + content patterns + provider policy. Each rule carries a severity, so we can review regulated goods rather than blind-block everything.
Restricted category
Listings are screened on title and description. A block hit stops publishing; a review hit routes to our team; warnings and info are surfaced as guidance. Screening is not keyword-only — the category workflow and (where relevant) payment/shipping provider policy also gate a listing.
BlockedProhibited — these cannot be listed for normal checkout.
Firearms
Firearms are prohibited. Use a licensed FFL channel instead.
Ammunition
Ammunition is prohibited on the platform.
Explosives & dangerous weapons
These items are prohibited and cannot be listed.
Drugs & controlled substances
Drugs and controlled substances cannot be listed.
Stolen / counterfeit goods
Only list authentic goods you legally own.
Financial instruments
Financial instruments and stored-value cards can't be listed.
Live animals
Live animals are prohibited.
Hazardous chemicals
Hazardous chemicals can't be shipped or sold here.
Surveillance / spyware
Covert surveillance/spyware tools are prohibited.
Adult sexual products
Adult sexual products are not supported on the platform.
Manual reviewRegulated — routed to manual review before going live.
Alcohol
Alcohol is routed to review until licensed age-verification is enabled.
Tobacco & vapes
Tobacco/vape listings are routed to review.
Regulated medical devices
Some medical devices are resale-restricted; routed to review.
WarningAllowed with a clear disclosure.
Recalled products
Disclose recall status; some recalled items can't legally be resold.
InfoGuidance only — describe the item accurately.
As-is items
Make the as-is condition explicit so buyers aren't surprised.
Note: hazmat-adjacent goods (lithium batteries, aerosols) are not blocked — they're handled by the hazmat workflow with shipping rules and review, not removed.
